Unfortunately this was a very disappointing experience. The property appears very unloved, from the unkempt and overgrown grounds, to the very tired villas. After being greeted with a flat stare at reception even though both of us offered a happy hello, to the endless laminated rules, regulations and fine/charges for damage, everything felt quite inhospitable. The aircon and bed in our grand pool villa were good but for the price this is not a great resort and other options in Naiyang are much better value for money.

Hotel is great with excellent staff, super helpful. Only issue is the "raft" across the river to get to the beach, this certainly lets the hotel down and needs to be fixed as its not up to the standard of the rest of the hotel.

This property was beautiful and the staff were so friendly and accommodating. What I didn’t love is the pool was dirty and needed to be skimmed and they had no way to do that. Kinda ruined it a bit because the room was swim up and the pool and area so pretty. Other than that, it was wonderful.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit unserer Villa mit Poolaccess im hinteren und ruhigeren Teil des Hotels. Sehr geräumig und komfortabel. Durch die Nähe zum Flughafen ideal zum Ankommen und Akklimatisieren in Thailand.

Short walk to the beach. Resort was lovely and peaceful. Staff were very friendly and provided excellent service. It would be great if there was a bridge to cross over to the beach instead of the raft.

Hidden gem

Loved the L’esprit. A tucked away hidden gem. A little removed from the mainstream beach so peaceful. Only neg were no free coffee in lobby. In room was instant. Pool cleanliness was not the best. The “huckleberry raft” to get beach was an adventure. Had to take bolt at night because no lights on path back from town for safety sake But all in all loved it and even brought rest of family and some from wedding party there for last few days of stay. Stayed at this property many times and still love it. Great location just away from the main part of Nai Yang but over the little river on the raft and 2 minute walk into town. Staff are helpful and polite and so friendly, cannot do enough for you. Great villas and pool, excellent food and great atmosphere. Will definitely be back!!

Lovely Hotel and staff

We really enjoyed this Hotel and lovely Service. Location was perfect before going to AirPort next morning. Great beach to walk near By. Food was good too.

Helpful staff but wasn't given the room we booked initially. We did swap rooms but still wasn't given the room we booked, but was ok with taking the new room. Very dated resort. Breakfast menu could have some more variety. Food was not kept warm but they did make great poached eggs. Beds were big and the water was hot. Our indoor pool was small but ok to use. Dated and could use some maintenance, but was excellent for cooling off in. Main pool was not maintained as well as what should have been, steps were slippery and algae was present. Lovely people and very pleasant. I would rate resort at a 5 out of 10.
