The property is a little dated but very clean and close for the ferry and dining. Ladies at the front desk were lovely.

While the rooms are in a decent state for 20 year old fittings, they're let down by the beds. I've stayed in multiple rooms and all the beds sag badly. WiFi is also terrible in most rooms. Other hotels in town (sadly full this week) have figured out how to make WiFi work, but not the Beachcomber. Nor have they learned how to staff a front desk from 7AM, have breakfast available in their dining room, or ever have a seat for guests in their dining room without a reservation. I've stayed here when I had to if other properties are booked out, at least ten times over twenty years. Every time I hope it will be better, and every time it is not.

Lovely place, we had super views of the harbour. Comfortable and clean. Had mini bar and restaurant for evening meal which we didn't use. Continental breakfast in room option but lots of lovely breakfast places within walking distance on beautiful shoreline.

Lovely view and spacious room.

Lovely views from our balcony and spacious room. Spa bath was a treat. Restaurant dinner was excellent and restaurant staff very helpful. Overall welcome was a bit cool and it was missing a few finishing touches. Pool was disappointingly small. Also a bit of noise in the early morning from the wharf nearby.

Very nice views of harbor, property is a bit older and furniture is dated, but the room was very clean. The shower was a bit small. We liked that it wasn’t in the center of town and was a quick walk to the main area.great Views

Wonderful all around!

The room, 201 was beautiful, a corner room and siding glass doors on both. The view was beautiful overlooking the bay, very quiet, comfortable bed and coffee in the room. Bathroom was vey clean with a great shower as well. We ate at the restaurant and the food was delicious, had the roast lamb, fantastic! Can’t say enough about this find of a hotel, just wonderful in every way. Thanx to the owner and staff. Donna

Loved the fact this apartment was at the end of the building and we were able to open up 2 ranchsliders to allow for the glorious views and air flow. Great to sit upside on the deck and watch the boats and other activity. We will be back !

Nice stay in Picton

Great location from ferry landing. We walked to restaurants and shops from the hotel. Lots of great options to chose from. Great shopping close to hotel. Room had beautiful view of the harbor and ships. We could lay on the bed and see the wonderful harbor. Loved the jacuzzi tub in the room. Would recommend if staying a night or two in Picton.
