Sub Par Experience

We were told we should have notified them about our 2 small dogs in advance, as there is only a few rooms for pets. Even after it is listed as Pet Friendly. Apparently Hotels.com was suppose to inform us, however we did not get any notification. So a slight delay in checking in as we had to wait for the room to be cleaned at 8:00 PM. First thing we noticed was the left over Potato Salad and Sliced apples in the fridge from the previous guests. Not a biggy as they were in containers. However when trying to have a shower in the morning, the entire hot water tap came off in my hand, and there was no way to turn on the water.... So, in charging an extra $20.00 Pet Fee, the delay in checking in, and extra food goodies from the previous guests, I do not feel it was worth the $198.63 CDN we paid in total....Most likely won't be staying again....

The room was okay and fairly clean, but the property is very old and definitely needs upgrades. The TV wasn’t working properly, and there was no water tub in the shower, which made it less comfortable. The biggest issue was the restaurant — there’s no other food source nearby, and the dining experience was terrible. The food had no variety, was extremely overpriced, and the quality was very poor. I ordered a chicken breast but received a chicken thigh instead, and the taste was old and unappetizing. The mashed potatoes were crusty and my baby couldn’t eat them. The calamari was overly oily with a strange vinaigrette flavor, and the chicken burger was so over-fried it was dark and bitter. Overall, the room was just okay, but the food was terrible and the property really needs serious updates to provide better value for guests.

Clean property located close to all amenities. Reasonably priced. Has well maintained swimming pool and Jacuzzi. Breakfast was not included in the price but the restaurant served good food and drinks. Great hotel for a small town in AB.

Excellent property. Easy check-in, friendly staff, good location, only 30ish mins from Waterton. The sushi restaurant in Pincher Creek had the best tempura we’ve ever had! Will be staying here again.
