This is a very nice place to stay! The only small issue was we arrived on the ferry at midnight, so there was a line of us and others from the ferry. There was only one worker checking all of us in. She did her best, so it took awhile to get checked in.

Their only parking lot is accessible from the back door. This door is locked after 10 pm and guests do not have access to the hotel from the parking lot. The staff member was not helpful and in fact walked right up to the door to tell us it’s locked and we need to walk to the front door, the front door is also locked. Very poor customer service and consideration for guests.

It’s a clean and perfectly good place to stay. Arrived on the late ferry, slow check in after midnight with only one person on the desk. But the room was clean and had black out blinds, allowing for a slightly longer sleep in. Breakfast was included- a basic continental but fine. You can also make waffles, which the kids enjoyed. Central location and not far from ferry terminal And easy access to everything.

Bedding was clean. Room was supposed to be up graded but basically just a coat of paint. Room very small. Coffee grounds left in coffee pot from last customer. Elevator didn’t work. No housekeeping at all during our 3 day stay. Definitely over priced for what it was. Garbage all over at front entrance door, never picked up by staff in 3 days there. Building doors never locked, many homeless people outside building. Breakfast not worth going for, dried up oranges and lack of choice of anything. Pictures on website look way better than what it really is. Cleanliness of building very poor. Some staff very friendly others not so.

Comfortable stay in Prince Rupert

Great comfortable place in Prince Rupert. Early check-in, and got a room with an ocean view. Staff were all friendly and helpful. 2 recommendations for improvements: 1. Wipe the dust/grime off the bathroom fan regularly. That one issue makes a bad impression and it’s been mentioned in other reviews. 2. Stop watering down the breakfast juice and coffee. The cranberry juice seemed about 60/40 water/juice and the coffee was very weak—hardly drinkable but we went back and made great coffee in our room using the supplied local coffee. This diluted juice issue has also been mentioned in other reviews. The waffles, however, were wonderful and we had all we needed for breakfast. Other than the issues I have mentioned, we were very pleased with our hotel choice.

Room needed painted at minimum damage was obvious. Had a king room but only had queen pillows so huge issue as may as well been in a queen. Just very dated and needs a good deal of work. Staff were indifferent to issue book in was not great is not up to Prestige Hotel standard. Reminded me of a no name Motel.
