We stayed for one night and had a great stay. Check-in was simple and the desk clerk was very friendly. Parking across the street is very convenient and you don’t have to go outside as there is access from parking garage to hotel. We included breakfast when we booked and it was a buffet with lots of choice and good food. Location is amazing and easy access to everything uptown.

An old hotel but clean and the customer service while checking in was excellent. I had the harbor view and it was super nice to watch the boats come in. I spent my morning before checking out, watching the unloading of a container ship.

After driving for 9 hours from Quebec to St. John we were told that the room I pre booked and pre paid for was not available anymore. What is the point of reserving and pre paying if I’m not going to get the room I want. We were moved to a lower floor which was fine but we soon realized that we did not get the harbour view that we paid extra for despite them messing up and giving away our room. Instead of the harbour view we got to look at garbage bins. Just annoying that we paid extra for the view. The head board had a rip in it. The most annoying was the cleaning staff. At 9 am they were going around cleaning rooms and yelling down the hall. It woke us up. I had high expectations staying here as I thought Hilton was a good name but I was really let down. When booking we were debating between Hilton and delta, wish we booked delta.
