The hotel is in a nice location. But the rooms are over priced and the pictures are deceptive in that they make it seem nicer than what it is. Also during my stay there was contraction going on right above me and I woke up at 8am sharp to someone loudly operating a saw and the noise of a hammer. I asked for a new room and the front desk person brushed me off. I then submitted a complaint through Expedia and an hour later they called me to move my room. I don't typically leave reviews but did for this property. This is not a $300 a night hotel experience.

charging $14.99 for the same breakfast I get at every Hyatt place for free is ridiculous. Should of told me of the construction going on. Lots of pounding on the floor above. Should have at least given me free breakfast for the inconvenience. It is a super location. Close to everything.

Birthday fun get away!!!

I had a great experience at the Hyatt in Portland this past weekend. Check in: easy/room was ready early. Reasonable price, clean, comfortable and within walking distance of our restaurant. Very nice staff!! My other friend's parking was comped because her room took a little longer to be ready-so nice!!! WILL go back!
