Great location and view, room and pool dingy

When I checked in, the staff was quick but very rushed and not friendly. When I got to my room, the temperature was 83 degrees! I called the front desk and they sent up a maintenance worker who reset the unit and it started to work but was loud the rest of the stay and I had to turn it off and on again several times to work. The pool is in need of a complete overhall - dirty and dingy. Disappointing.

Room key did not work and had to be exchanged twice. Our room had a nice view of the rocks and skyline and was spacious. Our room was clean and had a pleasant smell. The TV had wires hanging off the back of it and TV remote was confusing to operate. The balcony had no chairs or table. Carpet in hallway and hotel room needs replaced or at least stretched. Jacuzzi was being remodeled. The pool was nice and warm, however, part of the ceiling kept blowing open from the wind outside. The towels by the pool were so small I needed six to dry off. The staff was very friendly and you can tell they take pride in keeping this place clean. We enjoyed the food at the Cantina and gambling at the Yavapai Casino. Keep in mind drinks are not free no matter how much you gamble.

I like the fact that there is a casino attached but is not interfering with the entrance to the hotel. It is very inconspicuous. I liked the dinner menu and found something perfect that went along with my recent eating guidelines. I loved that there was a band playing Friday and Saturday night. They were great! I absolutely love the view and the fire pit.

Beautiful view for a quiet stay

We enjoyed our stay. The room was quiet and clean and the bed was very comfortable. We had an amazing view from our room. The building could use a little maintenance and a few upgrades (bathroom faucet leaked during use and a crack in the ceiling), but everything overall was comfortable and nice.

Great location with great views, but definitely outdated rooms. Our TV didn’t have any volume, the carpets were dirty and had multiple areas popping up, the bed is an old spring mattress you could feel the springs, not much option for food and drinks especially later hours.
