Good rooms, no one at the desk

Rooms are always great, but 3 out of 3 times there was no one at the desk when I checked in. Door was locked and I was stuck out in -11 for 5+ minutes and they didn't even answer their phone.

The room was clean, the staff was friendly enough. The parking lot and area between the rooms is extremely icy and dangerous. The firearm alarm went off 5:20 am in the morning, for 10 minutes. We were just about to go outside when the alarm turned off. We had no communication from the staff as to the false alarm.
