The major problem we had was with our air conditioning that did not work. We informed the desk about this the day we arrived. We only received a maintenance visit after our 2nd complaint which was the next day. After 30 hours with no AC, we were offered another room. Upon my inspection, that AC was not working as well!!
Finally we got a third room. When I asked manager Valerie Gonchoroski for some compensation regarding our issue, he waived our 2 mojitos bar bill. REALLY very poor public relations given the fact we were extremely uncomfortable for 30 hours in 35 degree heat.
I had requested that one of our daily room fees be waived for the aggravation and duress it caused my husband and I. He refused!
The hotel could use some updating in particular the bathrooms which were functional but in need of some necessary repairs.
