We stayed at Excellence Punta Cana for our honeymoon and it was absolutely perfect. The resort is stunning, and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay special. Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. The front desk was especially accommodating—they gifted us a complimentary Honeymoon package, helped us book an excursion, arranged smooth airport transportation, and even called a taxi so we could visit nearby tourist shops. The food and drinks were incredible at every restaurant and bar, and the room service was just as impressive. Our mini bar was always fully stocked, and housekeeping kept our room spotless every day. There were fun events happening daily—our favorites were the Mystic Moon Ritual, the acrobat show, and the Dominican dance performance. We also booked a couples massage at the on-site spa, and it was phenomenal. It was the best deep tissue massage I’ve ever had—my shoulder felt brand new afterward. My husband was so relaxed he fell asleep… twice! We didn’t want to leave! We truly couldn’t have asked for a better honeymoon experience. Highly recommend!

Gorgeous resort! The only thing that would’ve made it 5- is for there to better food choices. Also - I thought because this was a resort that they would keep the scammers away but I think they are allowed. No resort workers stopped it from happening. We only got scammed for $20 (because it was all I had). A young couple on the beach were scammed for $125😳.

I liked all drinks and meals included. The food wasn’t 5 star dining but it was very good. The room was clean everyday and the refrigerator was stocked almost full daily. I didn’t like room service you never knew how long you had to wait for your food. I wish there was more access to drinking water after hours. The fridge was stocked with water daily but after 20:00 everything is closed and you have to drink tap water. That was my biggest complaint. The staff was all friendly and helpful but I felt the need to tip more than I thought I would. It says gratuities are included so it’s not necessary but I’m sure it’s appreciated. There was a language barrier sometimes but they speak better English than I do Spanish so I can’t complain about that. I wasn’t a big fan of the ocean front room. You couldn’t leave your windows open because there was a huge pool outside between the rooms and the beach. It would have been a better investment to stay in the garden view rooms for a cheaper price.
