Great location. Needs some updating, but looks like that’s already been started with lamps , light fittings, etc. 2 fans were in the room but it was very hot, air conditioning would be better.

I made one mistake when booking this hotel: I only booked one night. Honestly, I should’ve just forwarded my mail and stayed for the week (or forever—who’s counting?). First, let’s talk pet paradise. The massive, perfectly manicured lawn made my dog feel like royalty. Not only was it ideal for romping, sniffing, and generally showing off, but they even provided bags and bins—which means no frantic pocket-patting while pretending to be a responsible pet owner. The rooms? Spotless. The thermostat was so easy to control, even I couldn’t mess it up (and I’ve lost arguments with microwaves). The bed was cloud-level comfy, and the hot water didn’t require an engineering degree to figure out. Now, let’s discuss the waterfront location. Stunning. It’s the kind of place where you stare off into the distance, pretending you’re in a movie montage, while your dog drags you toward a seagull. Breakfast? Complimentary and actually good—which is rare. Nothing like free waffles to make you feel like a genius for choosing this place. And the staff? Friendly, helpful, and not once did they look at me like I was a crazy person for traveling with a suitcase full of squeaky toys. In short: Highly recommend. Book the week. Bring the dog. Bring your appetite. Bring a change of address form just in case.

Ocean front. Great place to walk and relax by the ocean. Close to Quadra Island Ferry Terminal. The building is quite old. Carpet needed deep cleaning. Understand having no airconditioning however would be great if rooms have one. Staffs are excellent and helpfull. Breakfast is okay.

Ramada could do better.

Dark and dreary room, very little lighting especially the bathroom. Clean enough but badly needs a refresh. Good breakfast and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Blinds or net curtains would be great on the ground floor windows. I expected more from Ramada.

They advertise that they have a Sauna and Hot tub. But both have been broken for over a year, and they do not plan on fixing them. I do not believe that they should be allowed to advertise having certain amenities that aren't available. Expedia needs to mandate that they change their ad, and reimburse a % of the cost!
