A very comfortable stay at the end of a long day visiting the national park. Perfectly positioned for a quick trip to the hot springs only 5 minutes away (they even supplied pool towels) and a few choices of local eateries for dinner. Breakfast at the local cafe was included and 3 simple choices were offered. We were in a hurry so had ours to go. The motel was so pretty with so many flowers and it was lovely sitting out on the top floor looking at the mountain views. I would definitely recommend it if you're looking for a stay in the area.

Staff was extremely friendly. The room was just what we needed. It was very clean and well cared for. Extra towels for taking to the hot springs. Free breakfast at the place around the corner. Very pleasantly surprised by this place--they exceeded my expectations.

A go-to in Radium

The complimentary breakfast was great! The rooms were clean and spacious. We loved the dog friendliness. It was quiet with some great views. The owners were lovely to interact with and were flexible with our late arrival time. We also really appreciated that the complimentary soaps in the bathroom were from a local Canadian business and were excellent for repelling mosquitoes. It was our first time in the area and we will definitely be making this a must-stay on our next trip.

Way overpriced! $200 a night worth about 80. Check-in from 4pm to 7 pm. ( I understand staff hard to find but this seems ridiculous). very limited parking. 3 motorcycles taking up 3 spaces. ( Could have all parked in 1 space,they were traveling together) Room clean. Door difficult to close and lock. Window open for AC unit. Room clean. Convenient location. Breakfast was good. Would not recommend at this price point.

The Gateway Motel was recommended by a friend and my stay in Meridian was incredible ! The Motel staff and owner made me feel comfortable as soon as l checked in. The views of the mountains, the aroma of the flowers from the second story…. reminded me that, lm on vacation. I really enjoyed the sauna on a cool rainy evening!! Motel is within walking distance of the Meridian downtown that has a variety of restaurants and local artisans shops. Screemers is a must see !! Check out Kootenay Rafting across the street as well, that was fun

Very nice.

A little dated, but very clean. It was just the little things that showed they cared. A very good example of how properly a business should be runned. Attention to detail was key, from the decor, upkeep, friendly staff and right down to the welcome cookies on the bed.
