The hotel was enjoyable enough, but after our stay there were a few things that stood out as less than hospitable. No bathroom available near pool/fitness area.(only available when Moxie's was open so if you're swimming or exercising before 11 AM, you have to go up to your room to use the washroom!!) with two kids and only one parent having to bathroom available was a HUGE inconvenience. Secondary lobby entrance locked during daytime( sign said it would be locked at 11 PM) I and my two children had to walk all the way around building to get in at 10 am because there was only one staff member. Pool room floor was dirty wth hair and lint, and the jets didn't work so it was a large bath . Sofa bed mattress was horrible 6 year old complained it was like sleeping on boards!! Not our favourite but not our worst stay anywhere!

This property was under renovation. The rooms on the upper floors ar3 completed and beautiful. The rooms are spacious and I had a separate seating area. The staff were friendly and eager to help us with any questions or concerns we had. Moxies restaurant is attached and Dennys is reight beside the propwrty and is open 24 hours.

Was a really reasonable price for a newly eenovated room $90. Rooms were lovely. Moxies restautant is attached and Denny right next door (15% off Denny's if you stay at Sandman) Moxies was EXCELLENT and Dennys's was great and fast for breakfast. Hotel staff professional and friendly check in/out fast and efficient. Would stay again.

The ladies at the front desk were incredibly friendly and pleasant. Shout out to Julie, Courtney, and Eve! Check in wasn't as smooth because I booked via Expedia and arrived shortly after booking. But the ladies were very accommodating and made sure we were able to get to our rooms quickly after a tiring day. The beds were comfortable and the entire place was well maintained and clean. I would stay here again and recommend it.

Disappointed with Our Stay Unfortunately, we booked this hotel for one night, and our experience was very disappointing. Upon arrival, the lobby appeared run-down and outdated. We were informed that the hotel is currently undergoing renovations, and while our room had been recently renovated, the quality of the work was poor. The room was not clean—counters hadn't been wiped down, there was hair throughout the space, and we found mold and bugs inside the window frame. These issues made our stay very uncomfortable. Due to the condition of the room, we opted not to stay and instead traveled to a different hotel, which was very clean, modern, and innovative by comparison. I do not recommend this hotel and hope they improve their standards

When I reserved the room, the hotel description indicated 'breakfast for a fee', which means hotel guests get a discount at Denny's restaurant about a block away from the hotel. Room was newly renovated and clean. A bit noisy because it is near a major street.
