We had to change rooms: Light didn't work, Bathroom was dirty, room phone didn't work. The decor and condition looked very worn and needed a complete refurbishment. There was only a minimal place to eat that did not provide lunch and didn't open until 4:00PM. We arrived early from our flight and asked about our room and we were told it was not ready. I asked to be put on a list for early access and was told they would try, two hours later I went to the desk and asked about our room and was told "Oh sorry, yes it's ready and that been the saga of having to change rooms etc.

the "acccessible" room we were assigned to was lacking. the bathroom in particular was inconvennient to use - the sink had ZERO space around it for storage. elevators were slow and made concerning groans. bar staff on the main level seemed inconvenienced by our pressence in the evening.

I was not given 2 key cards upon check-in. This caused an issue when I left the room to return the luggage cart because it was necessary to use a key card in order to access the elevator back to my room. The associate at check-in was distractible and not very attentive to my Q's. No coffee maker of any kind in the room?? Even a Motel 6 includes this amenity. Only an electric tea kettle. How many guests start their day with tea vs. coffee. It felt asvthough this was a way to force coffee consuming guests to go tothe lobby and pay $5 or $6 for a single cup of Joe. In some circles, this woukd be considered a " racket".

hotel was so tired. I booked on expedia and when I arrived the staff told me the charge didn't go through on my business card. I put on my personal card. I was charged twice. They didn't know what the hell was going on, clearly. the bar tender on the roof was so overwhelmed he basically told a customer & myself he wasnt going to be able to help us.
