The water pressure was very low and only sometimes got hot water. Also, the building is outdated, and was very weird to get into the building. You have to buzz into the “apartment” building then take an elevator up to the 7th floor. Also, hard to sleep because it’s so noisy, lots of honking on the street, construction, sounded like the window was open but it wasn’t. However, the location was good because it was close to the bus stop and train station.

A bit expensive for the poor overall experience

Positive : good location, welcoming staff, clean room Negative : noisy cleaning staff in the morning, difficult to sleep after 8am, the shower was not working properly. You had to press a button continuously for the shower head to spray water. The shower drain does not empty properly and the air freshener does not smell very good.

Our room had some areas of disrepair. The shower was leaking, wall trim around the bathroom door was coming off, and the toilet flush did not work properly. The Expedia description of this hotel says that there is AC, but you only get AC in your room if the exact room you book indicates that AC is included, otherwise they remove the remote from the room to control the AC. It was extremely hot while we were there. Even with the window open, we could not get comfortable. When I asked about the AC situation, the desk clerk was unable to tell if we were “supposed “ to have AC or not. They did ultimately give it us, but he said it usually costs an additional €8/night. This should be clarified on the hotel listing and AC should be an option that you can add when booking rather than being hit with this on arrival. The final and worst issue is that on our final night, I found a bed bug on my daughter while she was sleeping. I did not visibly see any others, but we did have some unexplained bug bites on our legs. Another reviewer noted this as well but I did not see it before our stay.

I got charged €3 for a small bowl of cereal and a small cup of coffee for a machine. The walls are thin, barely any of the power outlets work and window shutters were jammed. BUT, there’s a brilliant restaurant nearby and it’s not a bad place if you’re out most of the time

This Rooms are a good option for people that only need a room to spend a night and are on the go next day. It is not a good option for families. I also didn’t like the noisy. You can literally hear all the cars and people outside on the street. The AC made a horrible noise. I honestly couldn’t sleep two nights and end up checking out a day before.

Excellent stay whilst in Rome - from great service (someone always on desk 24/7) to spacious and clean room with en suite bathroom. Excellent amenities - lots of places to eat within walking distance, public transport on doorstep and not too far from tourist attractions. Good value overall. Only couple minor downsides - bathroom lock not working and shower thermostat was temperamental.

The location is very sketchy. The "hotel" isn't close to the main squares. The "beds" are not beds they are cots with a hard mattress and one sheet. The rooms are extremely tiny. We were charged $10 euros per night because they had to rearrange the room for 3 beds when in fact they were cots 2" from each other. The shower water was scolding hot you couldn't get under the shower water. The water never got warm it was either extremely hot to scolding hot which is such a hazard, someone can get serious burned. You have to pay extra for air conditioner $10 euros per night. The "hotel" was so bad we only stayed 1 night even though we paid for 3 nights. We left early and lost money but I didn't care thats how bad it was.

Very quiet hotel and very clean great place to rest up for the night they had a little bistro area for continental breakfast which included coffee or tea toast yogurt fruit cereal meats n cheese etc Room was clean and tidy but only thing shower floor was very slippery so be very careful. In all great stay 😊

Overall a decent budget hotel. The staff were friendly and the check-in/out process was very simple. I'd say the room was alright and did what you need. Some extra amenities like a fridge/microwave would be nice to have but generally it does the job especially as a budget hotel in trastevere. I'd say my only problem I personally had are the beds. When booking a double bed, you don't actually get a double bed and instead you get two single beds put together, which would be fine but we had to constantly shift and move around the matresses to keep them aligned snd especially fix the gap between them. I also found that the bed themselves were not very strong and near the end of my stay a few of the bed planks fell out which I had to temporarily slot back in myself. It caused some really difficult nights at times as I had to be careful that the planks didn't fall again or have more snap. Other than that one problem though everything else I'd say is good.
