I had a fabulous stay at the Grand Chancellor Hotel Melbourne. The room was spotless and very well maintained, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the service was truly exceptional. Staff were friendly, professional, and always happy to help, which made the stay even more enjoyable. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Melbourne.

I didn't have a chance to try breakfast so can't comment. The room was clean and bed very comfortable, nice modern/updated bathroom with rain shower, however you wouldn't want to be taller than 6ft otherwise you wouldn't fit under the shower. There was a very loud hum from the airconditioner on & off throughout the night and due to the proximity of the building next door, my allocated room had very little natural light.

Was okay but breakfast not that great. Only one coffee machine and limited choice. Average. Only one lift working when we were there which was frustrating. That said great location, bed was super comfy, room big and clean. Would i stay again? For the price paid i think i could find better. 7/10

The balcony was a non event - not even worth calling it that. Light comes into the room under the door and through the door hinges making sleeping difficult. We evn put a towel at the bottom of the door to try and lessen the brightness but nothing could be done about the huge gap where the hinges of the door were. It was a great location butt a budget price means it is a re lbudget and not very comfortable room with a sloe chair and a desk chair and bed. That was it. Oh and one tiny long lige milk carton for 8 or so coffee sachets.

The Kiwi receptionist we dealt with was extremely friendly and helpful as it was our first time in Melbourne. The room is small if you add a roll out bed for a third person. One of the two elevators was not in order, so there was usually long wait times to use them. Building is a little dated.

Location is perfect for convenience to all areas of the CBD. The hotel is receiving great updates (pool are etc) and once completed will be wonderful. A smart TV in the room would have been good.

Staff were approachable, on the first day had to park bit far, but on the following day got the nearest parking which was easy for a quick check out. Great location, however the television didnt have you tube or didnt even have a smart tv which was disappointing for the kid. The shower didnt have a glass door/ separation too. Nit overall good for money. Easily accessible to everywhere in the city.

It was a lovely hotel stay. Staff were attentive, kind and caring. Only issue we had was with the bathroom in the room. I was able to use it fine but my friend who is taller than me had to crouch down to use it because of the step up. Also left water over the floor if the pressure was too high. Flaw on the design of the bathroom for functionality. O
