I had a fabulous stay at the Grand Chancellor Hotel Melbourne. The room was spotless and very well maintained, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the service was truly exceptional. Staff were friendly, professional, and always happy to help, which made the stay even more enjoyable. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Melbourne.

I didn't have a chance to try breakfast so can't comment. The room was clean and bed very comfortable, nice modern/updated bathroom with rain shower, however you wouldn't want to be taller than 6ft otherwise you wouldn't fit under the shower. There was a very loud hum from the airconditioner on & off throughout the night and due to the proximity of the building next door, my allocated room had very little natural light.

Staff were good. We got in early and was allowed late check out at midday. However the noise each morning coming fm outside the halls, or within the walls of like doors banging was consistent in the mornings and disrupted sleep ins! Perhaps improving the sound proofing of the rooms may help.
