Our room smelt of stale cigarette smoke on arrival. The reception staff changed our room straight away to another room which was acceptable.

The room was excellent and central to Manchester, staff friendly and clean hotel all over. Would stay again!

Great location, excellent staff who went that extra mile. Would definitely recommend.

The hotel decor is very tired. Its an old building that has been painted in more modern colours but the carpets are very worn and the woodwork has been repainted on top of layers of old paint. It is not a boutique hotel as described. The windows are single glazed with secondary glazing so there is no sound proofing of the street noise outside. We didnt eat at the hotel so cant provide any information about that. The staff however are so friendly and welcoming!

The hotel is in a great location, rooms are excellent as are the staff. The only let down is the airport transfers are not complimentary

The bed was a lump of concrete. Truly awful 2 nights sleep. Never again. I'd pay more to stay further away.
