Amazing historic, classic hotel and club with many things to do for kids and adults alike! It was quite an introduction to Quebec for me. Both the inside of the hotel and the grounds were lovely. The canoeing/kayaking was amazing, not too busy, and a nice touch being included in your stay! Gorgeous hiking/running trails which include both opportunities to see wildlife and a historic mansion (Manoir Papineau).

Loved the overall experience of staying in a log cabin. It qas a romantic thrill which is timeless! We found it odd, however, thatvthe pool bar closed an hour prior to the pool closing. Given that this is a Fairmont property which focuses on hospitality, I'm surprised that the pool closed so early and didn’t align with the timing of the bar closure. And a Fairmont hotel should never run out of pool towels, ever. The BBQ grill dinner was fine but service tended to be on the slow side, but this could have just been an exception. That said, we rave about this place and will stay again without hesitation.

For a resort they are getting a bit tired. They need an activity director and they need to start adding more resort like activities restaurants close early and it’s hard to just get a coffee in the morning.

I did not liked that the mattress was horrible, room had no AC, coffee maker did not work properly, coffee was missing already in the box, and no accommodations so we can have breakfast when we asked for a spot on the patio, so we could have the dog with us. We did not get the room we reserved. We had no AC in the room. We paid gir two rooms yet our friends got a welcome basket upon arrival and we did not.

We’ve been to Chateau Montebello many times over the past 25 years. It never fails to deliver. This was for a milestone birthday and was great.

Amazing historic lodge with an air of luxury in days gone by. Service at reception is excellent. Dining service was dreadful. Rooms were old but well appointed. Grounds and amenities were fabulous.
