BEWARE! The pictures you see of the beach are not what you get. We were there for four days and two of them, the seaweed was a foot high, hot and smelly and went into the water so you couldn’t just step over it. I told the front desk, they said I was the first person to mention it (I find that VERY hard to believe) and the next day it was still there. I literally paid for the amenity to walk to the beach (like the one they had pictured) and we couldn’t even stand to be down there for two of the four days. We could have stayed somewhere inland for a cheaper price. I feel like we got ripped off totally. I tried contacting the manager twice and it’s been a week and he hasn’t returned my calls. There are plenty of other places to stay. Shop around.

everything was great, they make sure that there's lots of things to do , 2 pools , kayaks and paddle boards, cabanas. all complimentary I was traveling with my son who is 8 and has a sensory issue. they have a big empty area away from the beach and all the activities, I seen people fishing down there the evening we arrived and the next morning. my son wanted to fish too, we walked over there and within minutes they came and shut us down and the reason was that the dnr and police had been around looking. I explained that we bought our fishing licences and we were good to go... but still madey son put the pole away.. we weren't bothering anyone and it became a huge deal for my son! all the employees were extremely helpful except the one girl riding around on the golf cart.. even though she was standing right in front of me she wanted to tell her staff to tell us we were breaking the rules. I even knew she was talking about my son crawling on the rocks!! she was rude to the staff she was supervising & in front of guests!! she's the one who made them come tell my son to stop fishing. other than that the place is great. very fancy! there was a family staying in the room upstairs from me who had way to many children and adults in the same room!! at least 8 kids. they were noisy all night long.. seemed like pretty much anything goes there just don't try to fish!!
