Overall, this was a good stay. I liked the place's setup; the people working there were great. The lack of food options was a bit annoying. Uber Eats easily solved this, but your options are limited if you don't have a car and don't want delivery. However, entertainment was plentiful, and the direct access to the beach was terrific. Some construction is ongoing, but the hotel can't control hurricanes or the damage they cause. So anybody who would hold that against them needs to chill out.

Simple, Cozy, Okay Weekend Stay

Marina at the front was so sweet and friendly! The room was nice and clean and I loved the tiny private beach. There’s no breakfast so you do need to leave daily for food, the sky deck has a limited lunch/dinner menu. My room key was de-activated several times and I was told I could have a late check-out, which wasn’t recorded so on the dot, they shut off your water at check out! Couldn’t wash my hands, brush my teeth. That was kind of shocking, it’s an obvious, “get out!”. All in all, I’d suggest it for a solo traveler passing through for the weekend. I wouldn’t suggest for an extended stay, families, celebrations, ect..

This is a charming place with amazing views. Unfortunately they are recovering from a lot of water damage from last fall's hurricane. But they are working hard to get it back. The staff couldn't have been nicer. We had a gorgeous second floor room with features like a button on the bathroom mirror to keep it from steaming up, and ability to raise the window shade to the balcony from my phone. I can't wait to go back next year and give it a 5-star rating.

First and foremost the staff, especially Marina! Being greeted by someone who exudes joy and love for her job starts anyone’s experience with a positive outlook. I had a negative experience off the property and she reminded me to be positive and all would be alright and it was. From sun up throughout the day she was a bright and shining star!

The Skybeach hotel and Marina is a Hidden oasis at the tip of Saint Petersburg. And although the hotel is still recovering and rebuilding from hurricane damage, we had a lovely, relaxing, and thoroughly enjoyable stay. Special recognition should go to Marina at the front desk whose lively attitude and cheerful service elevated the whole experience. The amenities, the sky bar, the music on weekends and the private beach were just delightful.

Place was under construction from hurricane damage. No first floor rooms due to flood damage. Nothing but a food truck onsite to get food. Beach was full of broken glass cig nuts etc so not clean. Room had 1 chair and ceiling fan didn’t work. Bathroom was very outdated. No activities other than drinking at the bar. The bar was nice and the service staff was very good. Only small pool was heated. Larger nice pool was not heated. Hot tub was tiny. Was charged by hotel for first night above what I had paid to Expedia for the prepaid price. No elevator to get to second floor with large suitcases. Overall the experience was low budget but paid a high price. Maybe when all the repairs are done it will be a nice place. The website lists everything and no mention of current condition. Coffee shop wasn’t open.

This is an excellent hotel with great potential! We loved the pool options and beach was beautiful. We know that they are recovering from Hurricane Helene and look forward to see full amenities (i.e. cafe, water sports) return once construction is completed. The staff were very friendly and helpful!
