The bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I've ever slept in. Unfortunately, my vehicle got vandalized overnight the one night I was staying. Both of my taillights were stollen right off my truck when I got to me vehicle in the morning.

The room was a split room but only had 1 TV to try and swivel between the split. Needless to say, no matter where you slept no one had a good view. The bathroom floor was dirty, not disgusting but it needed a thorough cleaning. The bedside table had missing plugs, therefore it had a hole where the plug was. Overall it was not horrible but definitely had room for improvement.

Off the scenic path… but exceptional just the same

We picked this hotel because it is within half a mile from our son’s home. The majority of other guests were staying there based on its close proximity to Houston Medical Center and the Children’s Hospital (both within walking distance) However, though this hotel might not be best location to choose when traveling to San Antonio for the sightseeing/tourism reasons… it was exceptional, as most would expect based upon the Hyatt name. It offered a 24/7 fresh danish/desert bakery case, espresso and cocktail bar, work out area, smokers patio, outdoor pool and hot tub… the bed was comfortable, pillows soft… ice machines were conveniently located by the elevators… and fresh hot coffee was available by 6AM
