ROOM 101

DO NOT let them put you in ROOM 101. During the night the awful water sprinklers came on and if anyone knows about Florida well water, it smells like sulphur. It was like that from 2:30 am to 4:30 am until the smell finally dissipated. I have tried to talk to a manager for 3 days and no one has returned my call. We have stayed here multiple times and never had a issue but we never stayed on the first floor. The sprinkler heads (two of them) were right outside our window. If anyone from Ameniti Bay sees this, I wish you would have the decency to call me back.

Short trip

Nice hotel. Quick check-in/out. Decent breakfast. Only problem for me was that I forgot that BW has platform beds. I am handicapped and can't walk or stand. I rely on a hoyer lift to transfer from wheelchair to bed. With the platform bed, the hoyer lift will not go under the bed so I can transfer. I managed to get transferred to the couch to sleep. Not ideal but ok for a one night stay.

Very personable staff; clean, spacious foyer and guest rooms. Check in was quick and efficient. The parking was free and ample with easy access to the main 'drag'. Breakfast in the morning was served by a friendly staffer and included guacamole toast, in addition to eggs, sausage and potatoes and several other options too! Highly recommend this hotel!
