Deluxe waterfront Suite # 215 at THE RAMADA INN, 7150 N TAMIAMI TRAIL, Sarasota - a privately owned hotel room, rented independently from the hotel. NEWLY REFURBISHED WITH NEW FURNITURE - FIRM king size bed with nice appointments INCLUDING A NEW 47 INCH LED TV WITH MANY CABLE TV CHANNELS AND FREE WIRELESS INTERNET! This is a normal size hotel room, so there no kitchen, but has a small fridge and microwave. It is a normal size hotel room with a great bed, no table, see the pictures for an accurate look of the room...It is meant for short term stays. In the slower season, May thru November, longer stays may be appropriate with discounted weekly or monthly rates. PLEASE - NO SMOKING -NO PETS are ALLOWED IN THE ROOM (HOTEL POLICY - $250 PENALTY APPLIES) Also NO pets allowed!

The room is based in the Ramada Sarasota Waterfront hotel. Check-in is standard hotel process, go to front desk, get your key and walk up to your room. Room has updated surfaces, A/C, coffee maker and a dehumidifier. Do not touch the dehumidifier or the drain will come off and flood your floor! Learned this the first night when I bumped into it and woke up to a wet floor. Fixed it and it was fine the rest of my stay. The hotel is South of the Sarasota airport so it's not uncommon to have low flying jets coming in overhead until 11pm. Breakfast is 10 or you can hit any of the local breakfast places. Bar is open late, pool looked nice. Waterfront view and tiki hut was nice to use. The best part of this experience is the price! Cheaper than anything else in the area and the value for what you get is very good. Happy with my stay. Will likely stay again. Bed and pillows were comfy and A/C was good.

Host was supportive and attentive but the room and bathroom is too outdated and old, like old motel vibe. Dehumidifier was in there water all full, so I had to dump 2 times while I stayed for 3 nights. So it wasn’t properly working when we got in the room and smelled moldy almost. Way too loud along with AC I had to turn off while sleeping. Some nights airplane noise was too loud several times waking me up. wish there were more accurate pics to show that I knew what I was getting ahead for what I paid. This was still a hotel right? You can spare some shampoo n conditioner at least? Just small bar soap n small body lotion only. Fyi.

Quiet getaway

The photos did not do the property justice. The view was great and marina is gorgeous. The attached restaurant and bar were phenomenal with great service, food and live music. The pool at the hotel was clean and quiet most of the time. Would definitely stay here again, a steal for the price!!
