This was the worst hotel stay we've ever experienced. We booked a single room with a King sized bed a couple weeks in advance. We received nothing stating our reservation for a King sized bed could not be fulfilled. When we arrived , we were told the hotel was booked solid & we would have to take either a queen sized bed or 2 double beds, for the SAME price of the king sized bed room we originally booked. We opted for a queen sized bed but we're not reimbursed any difference in the cost of the room despite the rates online showing that they differed by $20 a day. The "made to order" free breakfast at the hotel "restaurant" was a set plate that was the same every day. The food was basic. The coffee was terrible. The hotel apparently was "updated" in 2021, yet all the finishes in our room were dated looking. The only "updates" were a new tub surround that stuck out like a sore thumb as it did not match the color of the rest of the bathroom. The walls were covered in dirty fingerprints and marks. The floor in our room was sticky!! It made our bare feet dirty from walking on it. There were no linens in the bathroom, no towels or face cloths. No bath mat either. We had 1 roll of toilet paper for a three day stay. My partner was ill with a cold and there wasn't even a box of facial tissues in the room. The "satellite" tv only had 1 working channel, the rest were all static. The front desk staff did the bare minimum of their jobs, they were not super friendly.
