They cater to flight attendants, so I assumed it was probably a good hotel for it being older. Upkeep and customer service are not priorities. It took 5 people to get a to-go order at the restaurant. No hostess up front but when she got there, she left to find out who could take the order then sent me to a waitress station. The waitress there said she'd be with me in a minute then left to check seated customers. Next waitress asked if she could help then sent me to the bar. The person at the bar took my order, handed me a ticket with no signature lines and no pen and then disappeared. Another person at the bar asked if he could help I told him I had a to go order. He found it and got it started. While I waited he asked waitress #2 if she was glad to be back at work and with all the sarcasm she could muster she said she was. He told her he could cover her area and his. He was doing a great job, stayed busy, checked on people, wasnt overly friendly, didnt pretend to be busy. The staff restaurant dont seem to like or communicate with each other, so I knew I couldnt relax/return there. The hotel has popcorn ceilings which is expected, but not the brown stains, leaking areas, and missing light covers. The last day of my trip i realized there were cobwebs hanging from the ceiling corners of my room including the bathroom and part of the patio door opening. First time I EVER got stale/hard cookie at a Double Tree, but I got fresh ones later. Depressing location.

Have stayed at the Seatac Doubletree many times over the years. The rooms on the ground level (not the tower) are pretty tired and in need of reno, but the beds are comfy, and it's hard to beat the convenience of the property to the airport.

The ceiling in the room was sagging at least 2 inches in the middle. The hotel is clearly trying to entice people to upgrade to their “updated rooms” which are the ones shown on the website. Most of the hotel is run down and the staff was bored and uninterested.

The hotel is nice, but the parking is overpriced. Had I known how much it would cost to park when booking, I would have booked elsewhere. Also, the on-site food options are slim.

The Double Tree Hilton was a great place to attend a conference. The staff was pilot and there was a lot of space for all of the people presenting.
