I love the ambiance of this resort , it’s very relaxing , quiet and very pretty. The room that we stayed in was clean and comfortable. I would recommend this place to anyone .

Room is dated and wasn't very clean. Uncomfortable furniture and beds. No hangers or dresser to put clothes away. Restaurant closed Tuesday and Wednesday. Food is mediocre. Breakfast was super greasy. Staff was great and so was the view. Quiet facility and didn't seem crowded, despite being fully booked.

It was everything good and around the view is awesome. But is main thing is not air conditioning in any room so we felt hot all night. And no microwaves in the room. Rooms needs some works done like washroom door not working properly. But otherwise hotel on very nice view.

We really enjoyed our stay at Rockwater Secret Cove. The staff as delightful and very sweet and accommodating. Our tandem massage in the tent by the water was relaxing and so tranquil. Dinner was delicious as well at Tubird. A very wonderful experience and can’t wait to come back again :)

Beautiful area as far as your view. But the cabin we stayed in had a terrible sewage smell. Beautiful area surrounding the cabins though. Do not recommend the dining on site. Food was not worth the high price.

Property has great location. But not all cabins have a good view. Our cabin was clean but we soon realized that there was water seeping in thru the bathroom floor after we showered. The air-conditioner was noisy.

Sadly disappointed

I was very excited as I had stayed in one of the cabins back in 2012 and loved it. This time I was in a hotel room and I was very disappointed this time around. There were multiple dirt stains on the walls and ceiling. The corners of the floors had dirt as well. My room also did not have AC and the sliding door screen was broken so I could not leave it open. The cleaning staff had left it open and there were multiple mosquitos in my room. For the price paid, I was very disappointed with my stay and won't likely return.

The front desk staff was great, and to be fair, they did everything in their power to make our stay enjoyable. What I didn't like were the following. The bar is just beside the front desk, at 4:00pm during our check-in, the bartender was making quite a loud racket by dumping ice 3 times in the sink. We couldn't hear anything the front door agent was asking us. We asked about the restaurant, they are independent from the hotel, so no meals were included in the price of the room, no supper, no breakfast. That aside, we asked for when would be a good time for supper, only to be told that they were booked for the full evening. So we had to drive 25 minutes to Sechelt to find a place to eat. To add insult to the drive, when we came back, the restaurant was only half full with 8-10 tables being available. Parking is quite limited, this was compounded by some guests using 2 parking stalls for their pick-up trucks. god forbid they would get a scratch on them. I cannot really blame the hotel for these guests, but fact remains that parking is quite limited. On a bright side, while we were out for supper, the front desk agent move her car to a stall close to our room so we would have a place to park when we came back. The premises don't have any elevators to the second floor where our room was, and none down to the swimming pool. All they have are stairs, and the 2 sets of stairs to the 2nd floor are both outside, which is quite dangerous for us with mobility issues.

Rockwater Resort was the perfect place to rest and relax. The pool was perfect with great lounge chairs to enjoy the sun. The boardwalk to the tent cabins was a nice way to see different views of the gorgeous ocean and islands surrounding the resort. The TuBird Restaurant onsite had delicious food for all meals. We went for some walks on the many different trails a short drive away. If we had more time we could have kayaked, paddle boarded, ate smores, and played lawn games. I will definitely come back again.
