We have stayed at this property in the past so it was an easy choice. The hotel is convenient to get to, the outside grounds are lovey, and there is lots of parking. Management cares about the condition of the grounds - they even have doggie dodo bags to make things easier. The suite we had was very clean and well maintained. Housekeeping even made little flowers with the facecloths, in the Kleenex box, and with the toilet paper which was a perfect touch. The bed was very comfortable and the room spacious. We enjoyed the pool and water slide (although a twenty minute wait for two towels at the front desk seemed excessive). Breakfast was amazing - hot, plentiful, and nutritious. The breakfast staff was working hard to keep everything filled and they were very helpful and friendly. The only part of the experience that did not meet expectations was check in. There were two employees on the front desk. Neither greeted us as we came in, neither smiled. At check in, I felt like I was an inconvenience especially to the female employee. No request for my Hilton Honours card (which should be on file anyway) and no benefits for being one. Check out in the morning went much better as the manager was at the desk. He smiled, asked how our stay was, and was friendly. Just how front desk staff should be.
