Unique!

Such a cool place! An old sheriff’s office and jailhouse! Rent the lower unit with 2 king beds and you will get a huge room with jail cells you can enter from inside the room! Very clean and well-appointed.

We made the reservation online sight unseen. Upon arriving we were a little skittish about the looks of the front entrance. But after entering the Small Lobby and finding our Room, oh my goodness we found it So Completely Charming and extremely Clean and Comfortable. We will definitely stay there again.

A different way of doing rhings

Without the cleaning lady we wouldn’t have got in the front door. The coffee service in the foyer lacked cups as well as the water dispenser. The shower soap was empty. The rooms was quiet and clean.

what a fun surprise when we walked in the door of room 6. It was so clean and modernized but kept the historical value and we enjoyed it tremendously. We can now say we slept in a courtroom and had coffee in a jail cell..

What an exceptional experience. We had the first floor double king size room that once served as the courtroom. From a comfort view, the beds were extraordinary. Plus bedside tables and lamps and plenty of places to plug in phones and laptops. The WiFi provided strong service. The room was huge, and there were spots on the wall where you could see the original iron bars that served as the general lockup for those awaiting their courtroom appearance. Then there was a private balcony / room with a solitary confinement jail cell. The bathroom appeared to be completely new and modern. How modern? How about a toilet that has a night light, bidet with massaging water and adjustable temperature. A heated seat and air dryer for your butt. Automatic flush when you came off the seat, or, if standing just use the foot sensor. Maybe though you might just want to use the remote control for all those features. All I know, is that now the missus wants to outfit our house with those! The vanity was new and modern and the shower, with overhead rain feature and handheld wand, was big enough to host a party, plus plenty of hot water. Also, besides being clean and tidy, there was a common room with seating, tables, microwave, water (hot and cold) and keurig coffee machine fully stocked with coffee, tea, creamers, honey and more. All in all you couldn't ask for a better place and to go one better, it was priced lower than other surrounding hotels.

Excellent - Clean, quiet, and comfortable

We stayed in the king bedroom suite. Excellent stay and would stay again. Hotel was easy to communicate with and responsive. Free parking across the street close and easy to access. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Place was quiet and a very quick walk to the main part of town. Brought our dog which was accommodated with no issue.

Rating would have been much higher if there was actually a person to check you. Everything is done on-line. Took 30-40 minutes to finally get codes once we filled in the online forms. If you are travelling and booking and you have a weak phone signal, good luck getting your room. It was a very awkward procedure.

Stayed in the double king bed room located on the ground floor. My friend is in a wheelchair and found it pretty much completly handicap accessible. The pictures listed dont do the room justice. Massive room with old jail bars, huge shower, private patio with a old jail cell that definitely had some creepy vibes. The beds and pillows were very comfortable even though the sheets didnt seem to want to stay on. Would stay here again.

This is been an amazing project to watch unfold over the last couple years and my hats off to the founders of this venue. We’re doing a great job. We had a last-minute reservation. Got to stay in the super suite with the two king beds. That is the old jail cell or whatever the heck it is it was really nice. They’re still working out some of the kinks but they’ll get there. My recommendations is need to make sure there’s a box of tissue in the room and probably a bottle water water bottle or two. While the king size pillows look nice. They aren’t very functional when you’re trying to sleep with a pillow that’s 3 1/2 feet long particularly with two people in the same bed just some thoughts other than that places is spectacular.
