Parking was great, room was completely remodeled and clean. It is an older motor motel, but the rooms were lovely. Only complaint is they need new coffeemakers and the mattress, while fairly comfortable, was far from what I expect in a hotel/motel. Think a $300 Amazon mattress. That was what it was. The sheets and mattress cover slipped off constantly, as it didn’t fit the mattress well. This was the biggest disappointment of the trip, but the area is beautiful and we able to walk to many lovely attractions. It was also very addordable

Parking was easy & friendly, caring owners. An older motel but the rooms have been redone and are modernized. Bed was a little hard, but the room was comfortable. SUPER walkable to the downtown area of St Aug. with a lovely view of the city waterfront and fort as you walk over the Bridge of Lions. This is our new favorite place to stay!

had one of the worst hotel experiences ever at the Budget Inn in St. Augustine. I booked ONE night, but for some reason the system showed TWO nights in two different rooms. When I tried to explain the situation to the person in charge, he was extremely rude and dismissive. He literally told me he didn’t care, that it wasn’t his problem, and that I had to call Hotels.com myself because he “couldn’t do anything” and was now “stuck with the extra room.” Completely unprofessional. After having to chat with Hotels.com, the agent told me it would be difficult to get a refund, but thankfully they processed it anyway. Still, this should have been handled at the front desk instead of me dealing with all the stress. The room itself was clean, but the shower was clogged and filled up with water, which made the stay uncomfortable and unpleasant. Between the horrible customer service and the maintenance issues, I will NEVER stay here again and do NOT recommend this hotel to anyone.

The property is really old and the rooms are not comfortable for a family, A/C old too. We stayed at this property for just one day and it was enough. The price is really expensive for what this property offers. The only positive thing is its proximity to Old St. Augustine.
