Staff great the only positive, I ended up in room 17 (sorry for the poor people who get this room going forward) the first room on the bottom floor, first note, every floor board creaked and cracked, the decor dating back to the 1940's period, horrific brown wooden joy, no desk light, no fan, a tv where 4 channels worked, just miserable, the tiling in the bathroom may well have dated back to the 1920's, the most pathetic gross bottle of some kind of awful shower gel. The window opened onto a car parking space some 9 yards away, the road around the hotel car park and every smoker that came out of the main entrance for them to fill the room with smoke and diabolical chat or playing videos on their phones. But the saving grace was the noise from the room above, oh wow, every floor board creaked, footsteps like a drum being beaten, i paid well over 100 Great British Pounds for the joy, what a dump.
