CLOSE TO 95 IS A PLUS.. Room and the whole 8th floor smelled like cigarettes and weed. The elevator doesnt tell you what floor you are on. Signage is bad.. Staff was great.. Room key worked and deactivated on 2nd day.. Not quite what I expected from Laquinta.. not at alll..

Staffs were not good enough and they even gave me a room and gave the same room to another person also. They disturbed me from sleeping and the staff was rude by asking me if I changed room number and didn’t recognize their mistake to even say sorry. I stayed 2 days there and nobody came to clean my room. The service is awful.

Not the best experience

It felt like a bad motel experience. They did have breakfast which I was happy about because I had a little one with me. But I tried to make the best of it. My daughter wanted to get on the pool and I did just to please her but lasted maybe less the. 30 minutes because I felt a bit discussed by everything else but didn’t want to say know to her. Also at check in, they girl was in a personal phone call while taking care of me and didn’t hang up until she realized they were a lot of people in the line for check in and new she wasn’t going to be able to keep speaking over phone

We did not eat the breakfast that is offered at the Hotel, but we find very convenient to have a great dinner next door. The beds were good and clean, we would have liked it if they could help us with a cot or a smaller rolling bed for our toddler who is too big for a crib but is to young to not fall of the big bed.

This hotel offers amazing value!! I left a hotel in the area which cost $200 more per night and I honestly liked this hotel more. Staff is very friendly and accommodating, great room (microwave, fridge, coffee maker, 2 queens beds, etc), indoor swimming pool, free parking, free breakfast and literally right next door to Stamford Diner! Property is doing some upgrades but still well worth the price, will stay here every time.

This place was disgusting. The carpet was sticky and greasy so I had to put towels on teh floor after I took a shower. The furniture looked like it has been chewed by animals. These were some of the grossest rooms. The staff wasn't particularly nice or helpful. They weren't rude, but just kind of there collecting a pay check. The breakfast was not very good. Very limited, not restocked often. They advertise a fitness center, even include photos - but it turned out they don't have one.

The best part is the restaurant next door.

The best thing about this La Quinta Inn is the location—being right next to an amazing diner is honestly one of the main reasons we stay here. It’s also fairly affordable for the area, though it’s one of the more expensive La Quintas we’ve been to and definitely one of the oldest. The hotel itself feels tired and looks like it’s been renovated a dozen times, and not always well. The check-in staff was very friendly and professional, which was a plus, though we didn’t interact with anyone else. The business center has supposedly been “under renovation” for at least six months with no visible progress. They do seem to be updating portions of the hotel, but it’s hard to tell how long that will take. The pool was actually open this time, which was nice since it wasn’t on our last visit. The bathroom was marginally clean—good enough for a short stay, but not impressive. Overall, it works for a quick trip and the diner next door makes it worth it, but the hotel itself really needs a proper update.
