This is an amazing hotel ,seeped in history , a lovely welcome and very helpful on reception. A lovely wet room in our room ! Breakfast was lovely we say on the balcony was was perfect ! We loved Austria and hope to return one Xmas .

Excellent service from the young lady at front desk, she recommended us about food and restaurant, she was very friendly and professional, she speaks many languages ​​and we were able to speak with her in English, Italian and Spanish, I don't remember her name, we would have liked to say thank you again, but she was not in the morning when we left

Fine traditional hotel in the Tyrol

We enjoyed staying one night here in Lienz. The room was very large and comfortable with a seating area that would have been very nice for a longer stay. The breakfast buffet was generous and delicious. I developed a great fondness for the brown bread with pumpkin seeds served everywhere in southern Austria.

Everything was better than expected.

Great Hotel a lot better than what I expected. This was a one night rest in the middle stop and it turned out to be a very nice hotel in a very nice little town.

This hotel is an excellent option for those wishing to relax and enjoy the local community. The staff were great and very attentive to any request or acknowledgement of a special occasion. Would definitely stay here again if back in the are.

Central and adequate

This is an OK hotel and much better than a typical budget hotel. Price was great for the standard of hotel. Location is right in the centre of Lienz. The hotel is old, but it is in keeping with the character of the area

At first look it appears old but maintain. Charming. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was basic. What drop this down for me was the fact that the room was so hot. I get euro in general does not supple air con. But no fan either? We had the window open from chk in to chk out. It didn't help. Our room was a corner one blocked on three sides by the building. And with the window open it was noisy. Paying what we did for one night and basically no sleep. Nope. Will not be back.

Town Square Hotel in Picturesque Austrian Town

Great location, it is an older historic building but clean and quaint. Friendly staff and a good variety at breakfast. The city of Lienz isn't too big but it's nice to be in the picturesque town square, making you close to everything.

Very nice place to stay

The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the train station, a definite plus and in the heart of the plaza. The room was exceptionally large and the rooftop pool is amazing. Would highly recommend this hotel.
