Everything went really well except check-in. The front desk personnel need some polish. There were girls trying to look and act cute and who didn't emit professionalism. By contrast, Amparo who ran the breakfast area was a total pro, the bartender (woman with med. length hair -- can't recall the name) was also very helpful and pleasant. We were at the hotel for an on-time check in and were given a small room on the other side of the elevator shaft, which was noisy and not the JR Suite we booked. We requested a new room and were met by the manager who was courteous and helpful on our second trip to the check in desk and gave us some coupons for meals. Also, I was responsible for 75 nights (25 people checked in for 3 nights -- some staying longer for the bad weather) this past week by people who stayed at the hotel and it seemed that the hotel was disinterested in helping me or accommodating me when I sent an email two months prior to let them know that I had that many people coming exclusively to the Moran for a workshop I gave at a nearby office space. Thought you might want to know. The room was very nice, very clean and the housekeeping staff super sweet. The shower looked worse for wear, but overall I loved the renovation and my guests were very happy with their stays and the location. Your group representatives should seem more engaged and welcoming when approached about a group coming to stay.

The Moran Citycentre has an ongoing hot water problem. During my stay, there was NO hot water, meaning no hot showers. When I informed the front desk, they said they were aware of the issue. A prolonged lack of hot water raises serious concerns about basic operations…laundry and food service rely on proper temperatures and sanitation standards. Now the stains on the bedsheets make sense. It’s just GROSS. What’s worse, if you read the reviews, this appears to be a recurring issue that’s been mentioned repeatedly. I just wish I had seen those reviews before booking. Also, don’t expect to sleep past 8am. Housekeeping came twice to knock on the door in the morning, ignoring the Do Not Disturb sign. The manager, Juan Rodriguez, was also informed of the issues but there was no response. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Loved the beautiful surrounding area, and such a nice area to immediately walk to right outside the hotel. The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating, and the rooms were nice and clean.

I’m sooo upset tonight beyond angry, when we set up our reservation for New Year Eve/ New Year was with the intention to come a see fireworks and a celebration activity. I called to confirm that they would have something going on bc I was bring my special needs family paid extra to have the view almost 1k for NOTHING ACTIVITIES NOTHING FIREWORKS NOTHING NOTHING NADA…. If you want to do a celebration you have to pay an extra for end of the year celebration at the hotel we are a family of 6 there’s no way I can afford that. I already paid way more than what I should off. This year was a hard yr for us and I just wanted to go out and give my family some happiness for a harder year to come and this hotel has done us wrong I have failed to give my family anything. I’m so mad bc I called and confirmed, when I called the lady who answered the phone said there would be a celebration in the courtyard that is why we paid extra for the view. And when we arrived the gentleman said no there will be nothing going on , but you pay extra to go to hotel celebration. Please don’t come here where they twist the words to convince and is not worth money to be in your room frustrated with nothing to but watch tv bc there’s nothing open nor anything going on outside everyone is just playing soccer or walking around.

The room was gorgeous. The staff was extremely friendly, all the us from the Valet to the Front Desk. Location is amazing…everything within walking distance. Free parking if you prefer to self park. Will definitely be back.
