Check in was good. Parking was good. The rooms were not very sound proof and we could hear dogs barking. The curtains were too small and didn’t cover the windows all the way, so the bright parking lot lights shined into the room all night. Rooms were clean. Beds were comfortable. Besides the curtains it was a good stay.
I tried for two day to call the property and did not get an answer after 10 or so rings and never got an answering mchine. When I arrived there was nobody on the desk and took about five minute for the lady to show up. Also the front desk was never attended to by the staff and another patron was there for approx 10 minute for a problem and I was there about 5 minutes with him with my problem. Her answer to me about the phone calls was that it was very busy and she could not get to all the calls when they came in. I think it was poor management and she did not want to sit in the office or there was not enough staff. Either way the front desk did not seemed to be manned properly. Other than that the facility was good.

The hotel is run down and the rooms are extremely dirty. The bathroom floor and tub was black. Hair from previous guest was in the bathroom. Dirtiest place I have ever stayed. The front desk area smelled like cat litter
This hotel had me nervous when we first pilled in. It didn't look that clean or safe, but the inside was nice and clean, though dated. Had a good sleep. No restaurant attached.
The property is extremely old and smelt bad. The beds were extremely uncomfortable you could feel springs in your back and it folded like a taco. The staff were extremely nice.
We really didn't enjoy this property, it's poorly maintained and felt unsafe and h pleasant most of the time. To start, the room is furnished as if by a junkyard. The furniture is horrible, looks like reclaimed from the garbage, horribly stained and old. Why they bothered to move those things at any point as a business decision fails to make sense - unless it was all available from an earlier hotel that went bankrupt? I don't have a decent explanation. The room looked out onto a parking lot which was so bleak it should have been a movie set - decrepit wasteful furniture, garbage everywhere, places for motorcycles and the men who own them, to park and loiter after hours and drink as they please. The beds were the only islands of comfort; the room feeling was somber among the mismatched fluorescent lamps and dim overhead lighting. The flickering bathroom light was a special treat to put on makeup in front of each morning. This place is crappy, there's no sugarcoating that. The walls are paper-thin, you'll hear the redneck garbage your neighbours yell at each other, stomping boots overhead every morning as the labourers ready for their shifts in full gear. It's a hellscape of interior BC that really needs to be put out of its misery. Don't stay here to keep them going.
