Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge was so beautiful and quiet. Great place to unwind. Staff were all so polite and hard working. Additionally we spent Canada Day here and they had fun activities to participate in.

We stayed in seven locations making the scenic drive from Calgary to Vancouver. This location was about average compared to the others, but nearly triple the price (and substantially more expensive than our final night in a Five Diamond location which was spectacular). Would have been fine for a fair price--very much not at the rate charged.

We were surprised to find that the room we booked had no air conditioning. This room was not an inexpensive room, and there was no mention of this in the booking. After moving us to another room that also had no a/c, the manager moved us to a very nice room with a/c close to the lake. Other than the initial issue with the rooms, the hotel was excellent, and the manager, John, was very helpful as well as the rest of the staff. The location is beautiful, and the amenities and services are outstanding.

Great property. Beautiful lake. Animals on property. Disappointed in dining options. Only one place open for guests. Two other restaurants were closed to guest as they had groups and tours. Not very fair considering the price you pay for the room!

Restaurant view was great and the hotel had a private canoe rental that I liked. Hotel crew were helpful and friendly. The room was extremely small for the price (I paid Canadian 1001 per night). For a luxary hotel, even the minimum space can't be that small. We could hardly fit in our 4 suitcases. Bathroom garbage bin didn't have plastic bag and that was disgusting. I get the eco-friendly concept but a bathroom garbage bin in a hotel needs to be better managed. Food in the hotel wasn't very good. Choices were monimum. When we went to the town for lunch, it was 10 mins drive from the town and parking is hard in the Jasper town so we struggled to get parking.

Like all Fairmont Properties, the facilities and the location was excellent. The cost of food in the Jasper {Park Lodge is quite out of line with reality. Most resorts offer breakfast with the room rate - the buffet was $42 for breakfast - way too expensive as were the charges for the evening meals in the Grand Hall. Waitress first morning was somewhat slow and the waiter the next morning charged me an extra charge for a refill of coffee but the hostess cancelled that. Staff waiting on tables on both evenings were excellent - it is just the price that is out of line for what one receives but that is true in every Fairmont Location that I have stayed at. The room was fine and the cleaning lady provided me with an extra box of kleenex for my head cold. Beautiful location indeed.

Our cabin was very hot. There were 2 fans plus a ceiling fan and we had the 2 windows open and the front and back doors open but this did not help. Apparently they are going to be putting in air conditioning soon. This was the only drawback….unfortunately we did not sleep well because it was so hot in the room

The property was surrounded by beautiful lake and the service was outstanding.. The only reason why I ranked it 4 star instead of 5 is that the air conditioning didn't really work so the room and bathroom was hot even during this time of the year. We had to opened all the windows and the door to cool the room down even with all the fans that were provided.

The property is beautiful, staff extremely friendly, and great amenities. However, if going in the summer months be aware that some rooms have no air conditioning. When booking a room I saw nothing that indicated which rooms had no AC and only learned I had been given one of those rooms when I walked in to find it very hot. It’s tough paying $1000/night for no AC.
