People live there and it is outdoor. Main stairwell smells like urine and you don’t get a refund for checking out early. There were roaches in the bath tub and roach droppings in the corners. The toilet was filthy and so were the refrigerator and microwave. There were dead roaches in the fridge and freezer. Do not stay here. I got a room in the Holiday Inn next door because the conditions were so poor

Needs a remodel

The owners and staff were great but the room and hotel itself is like a trap house there were drug addicts and it was run down and was not a place to bring family and kids

Don’t select Tampa Inn

The property was dirty and there is a broken down bus in the parking lot. This property had numerous groups of people hanging around smoking and drinking, broken down vehicles and people were letting their dogs defecate on the lawn by the pool and leave it behind. We did not feel safe and did not even want to check out the rooms. Typically we have never had any issues with a property sponsored by hotels.com but this one is a minus, and will make me investigate further any other time I use hotels.com for hotel services.

The property is located in a high crime area. The rooms are dirty. The sheets and bedspreads are old and scratchy. There was a lot of activity late into the night outside in the parking lot. I can’t believe Expedia does not check these places out.

The window was missing and it had a wood covering, the first room had live bugs crawling over and around AC unit...2nd room was beyond dirty and the sheet on the bed had stains everywhere, the toilet didn't flush and it looks like the room wasn't cleaned in a month....almost went to sleep in my car ...

I will never ever stay here again or tell my family to stay there as soon as I walked in roaches all over the room floor ran everywhere beds were dirty pillowcases were dirty walls were broken inside the room roaches droppings everywhere I waited outside cause it was late like 3:40 when I went in to check in and came right out room to look for other hotels near me I spent time outside looking and talking to family members who walked in my room to see how bad and dirty and roaches there was then I went back up and spoke to the guy if I could get another room and he said no because it took me awhile to go back up o told him I was looking for another place to rent and if he did t want to give me another room to give me my money back to get another place and he didn’t want to do that so had to stay in that room floor was not clean dirty not sweeped or moped ac broken but worked with roach dropping mini fridge had dead roaches all around the hotel trash in parking walls broken the room smelled like roach dropping I had three extra blankets I took from my home and had to put them on the beds to not lay on the dirty sheets or pillowcases with blood me and my sons bed had our blankets on it and covered ourselves with our blankets we did not wanna get sick from laying on filth this hotel needs to be shut down it’s no sanitary at all

Roach Motel

We are typically okay with staying at a hole in the wall hotel for a night but this was just on another level of not okay. dead roaches, alive roaches. outside is not kept clean. dirty pool. just super nasty.

No one was in the office for more than a half hour and we nearly left because it was very late and we needed a place to stay. This place is horrendous.

Literally the worst hotel I’ve stayed at – ever. Filthy, chair had like 50 questionable stains. Dirty floor. Terrible smell/ odor. Hole in bathroom ceiling, from which mouse droppings covered the bathroom floor. Molding all chewed away by rats and left unrepaired. Could hear either mice or cockroaches scurrying all night. No shades on 3 lamps, one of which sputtered like morse code until we shut it off. Bathroom sink full of shaving hairs – room had not been cleaned. 3 doors down from about 25 teenagers and a literal wall of drug haze emitting from it. I cannot believe Expedia has this as a “recommended” result – literally should be shut down by board of health. Disgusting, I cleaned, unsafe. Do not stay here.

For sure the most disgusting hotel I have ever seen in my life. Cockroaches walking around, blood-stained sheets, human hair on sheets and in bathroom. I simply had to leave and look for a different place. Yolanda, the manager, refused to reimburse me for the room.
