We had to cut our stay 1 day earlier, we couldn’t stand killing roaches every day, the toilette didn’t refill so we had to do it manually, comforter stained, people smoking weed, dirty outside, rusty shower, water fountains in the Gym doesn’t work. It’s just a place to avoid. It’s a shame, since seems that they invested quite a bit in the renovation, but the maintenance and management of the property is a disaster.

You get what you pay for

Had to climb floor flights of stairs, two days in a row with bags in my handbecause the elevator always seem to be out after 11 PM. The rolling chair at the desk was upholstered and stained like someone had an accident in it. The arms were dirty. The whole chair was filthy and was unable to be replaced.

While the manager was knowledgeable and professional, the staff was rude and dismissive. One employee refused to answer my questions, simply stating that he didn’t know when the front desk staff would be available to assist me. During my stay, this same employee disrupted my work by bringing an exterminator into my room without prior notice, making the experience feel more like an insect-infested motel than a professional establishment.

The staff were an excellent group of people. We were always greeted with a smile and friendly conversation. Titus is doing a great job with his staff, we enjoyed his wit and humor and would stay there again. The area was safe and easy to get around. We did expect a little more in the kitchen and wish we knew that there were no utensils like pans and silverware. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

recent stay at Uptown Suites Extended Stay – Tampa/Riverview from January 30 to February 2. While the room itself was clean and comfortable, several service-related concerns made our experience less than satisfactory. One of our primary concerns was the lack of customer service and attentiveness to guest needs. For instance, we were required to bring used towels to the front desk in order to receive new ones and throw out our own trash. As guests in our 60s, we often use extra towels for safety on the bathroom floor to prevent slipping. Having to carry used towels across the hotel was inconvenient and did not align with the level of service we expected. Additionally, our room did not receive housekeeping service at all during our three-night stay. The hotel’s website states that they do. While we understand that daily housekeeping is no longer standard, we did expect at least one cleaning service during our visit. When we inquired about this at the front desk, we were simply told, "This is an Extended Hotel," which we found dismissive rather than helpful. Another issue was the excessive noise at night, making it difficult to rest. We were in Tampa due to a family emergency—my brother’s last-minute cancer surgery at Tampa General Hospital—and our exhaustion was the only reason we managed to sleep despite the disturbances. Lastly, our room lacked kitchenware, Not a big deal but might as well throw it in here.

No heart, terrible service

Says they’re animal friendly, but they aren’t. We had three dogs and after hurricane Milton they told us we had to leave. Leaving us homeless after the hurricane
