Had a great weekend stay at the Senator. Yoy want to stay on the 5th floor or above. Staff are all very friendly. Bed and pillows were super comfortable. Great free breakfast buffet with scrambled eggs, sausages, home fries, toast, yogurt and juice. A lobby bar/restaurant would have been a bonus, but not a reason to not stay here. I would definately stay at The Senator again.

Facility is older and shows as such. always felt safe. updates are needed to modernize a bit and underground garage could use sone repair. not saying anything is bad or unsafe just could use some maintenance. I would stay there again, have in the past, many years ago. I feel I got what I paid for.

Entrance looked old and run down, lobby smelled of mildew. No restaurant on site with very limited options close by. Although a non-smoking facility the halls smelled of cigarettes and pot! Air conditioner in room extremely noisy. Wifi inconsistent. Apparently half the hotel was use for housing people displaced by flooding on reserves!

This hotel is not what it is on the pictures. The lobby part is renovated but other than that it was not renovated since the 80’s. The parking is disgusting and the bath in my room was patched with some plaster…

Positives: great bed so we slept well! Negatives: the building is unfortunately a bit out of date and it seems like they’re trying to renovate. You can tell from everything on the floors and interior. Also, the carpets were not vacuumed well in our room as we found white specks here and there. The shower head was extremely weak.

Hotel is old but clean, staff is friendly. The gated parking garage was good but needs repair. Felt unsafe when I first checked out the lower levels. I wouldn’t go to level B stayed on level A. No place to plug in hybrid or electric vehicles.

Worst experience check in room was extremely filthy when I book resuwsyed late check out as we travel for work. Room service keep knock our door we put the do not disturb. Asking to check at 11 without seeing the notes never staying here unsafe hotel
