I liked the property because it was close to our destination. The people who work there were nice and helpful. We knew that the property is a bit outdated, but even then the views were phenomenal. However, when I booked the hotel, the reviews were raving about the hot breakfast. The pictures showed a different story than what the reality was. It was disappointing. I am not sure if it is because it is under new management. The sausage was not cooked, you had to make your own oatmeal, which I did not see hot water for. Overall, it was ok.

We were very disappointed in the cleanliness of our room. The sheets were dirty, there was trash on the floor when we arrived. No food available for breakfast with a sign that said they would not make more. Overall, very poor.

The property is fairly old and is not very well maintained. It was OK for the area due to the age of the town, but don't expect too much. The towels are rough and non-absorbant. There were some cleanliness issues in the bathroom. They did advertise breakfast, but they set out food at 8:00 a.m. and then refused to refill any of the hot items when they ran out at 8:30. I finally convinced the woman working there to make some more eggs and sausage, but she was not happy about it.

Needs some housekeeping training.

The staff was very friendly, accommodating and welcoming. Unfortunately, our room was not cleaned properly. When we entered the room, we found a cell phone sitting in the desk and returned that to the front desk. We left for dinner and came back to find that one of the pillowcases had blood on it and our bathroom had dirty towels hanging on the back of the door and a used shampoo bottle sitting on the bathtub. It was very windy and raining, so we opted to throw the pillow in the corner and not take a shower that night and asked the front desk to clean the bathroom properly for us. We left for the day and came back to find that someone had removed the shampoo bottle, but the dirty towels were still hanging on the back of the door. Complained again and was brought fresh towels and the towels were removed. We were still not comfortable with whether the bathroom had been sufficiently cleaned. My husband showered and I opted to wait until we got home to shower. We would not opt to stay here again.

The pool was closed and it was hot and sunny out. The countertops and toilets were the lowest I’ve ever seen in my life. So if you are over 5’5” and older you will have troubles. 1/2 a mile from town and you have to drive or walk on a busy highway. Other than that it was fine

It was a great cute little place to stay. I was not impressed with the "hot breakfast" of frozen waffles next to a microwave. They also had a few cereal choices with a gallon of milk in the fridge, one flavor of bagels, and a broken coffee machine.

One hiccup

Everything that we grade as high standard with the only exception being breakfast was more like a continental breakfast rather than a full breakfast. We understand new management is in place and we saw new equipment was being brought in hopefully make the breakfasts in the future better. We’ll give it one more try and see if things improve.

The sign as you pull in says 20% off for AZ residents. Did not apply that. There was no privacy shade on my window, so I had to change in front of the open window. The light blasted in the window all night. I let the front desk know and all they said was “ok”

We were very excited to be going to Tombstone for the night and with the heat lately looking forward to the pool, no where did it say the pool was not working till we checked in very disappointed with this, the hotel is old and up on the side of hill beautiful view of area. With an old hotel you get old fixtures and plumbing the taps dripped all night, but the room is clean beds good and it has a fridge and coffee in room, would i stay here again yes but i would also ask about pool.

The hotel is under new management so maybe some of these items could be addressed in the future. The positives: breakfast was great. The price was good. Staff was friendly. The shower water pressure was perfect! Now the Needs Improvement: The hotel bed in our room was definitely an older one and not comfortable. The towels are very small and scratchy. The room heater/air even set at a set temperature, seems to work too well! It got hot in there despite being set at 66 for the heat to come on.
