Worst accommodation and customer service ever!

I was attending an event at Rogers Stadium & booked this accommodation as it was within walking distance. I received messages with check-in instructions - press door bell & wait. No one came. After a half hour I called the number in the documents. Someone said they would come in 5 minutes; 30 minutes later a member of staff arrived who claimed to have no knowledge of the reservation even though I showed him the printed confirmation. He was uncommunicative, unhelpful and frankly rude and did not show any interest in helping. By this time a couple of young girls had also arrived and he said the property was being renovated so would take them to another one nearby. When I asked why I couldn't also go to this place as well he just shrugged and didn't answer! As I was by now going to be late for the event I had to drive off to get there in time. As all the hotels near the venue were full, and there would not have been time to find one further out, after it was finished I had to sleep in the car! Is this the fault of the completely unprofessional and incompetent property owners or did Hotels.com not send them the booking. This place should be removed from your listings immediately and probably others the same landlord may operate. Luckily no money had been paid but it was more then inconvenient. Do Hotels.com even vet the properties they deal with in any way? It seem not to me. Is there any scope for compensation for the lack of a reserved room?

Room was before reconstruction, insect in toilet, in wash-basin, dirty walls, bad smell from laundry, waste. Noise from kitchen too close to room with with working before 6am there.

Air conditioning but not adjustable, bathroom clean. Did not like box fan did not work, toilet seat one side loose broken, and frigarator needs to be defrosted should have a t.v. bed was ok.

I don’t recommend this place

The place was clean but there was no other furniture in the bedroom, just a bed. No toiletries provided either. Gave us only 1 towel & have to ask for another 1 coz there were 2 of us. The staff even got upset with us coz we asked for toilet paper. If the place was ready, we shouldnt have to ask for stuff. I know that they are quite cheap compared to a hotel but at least they should make their place more accommodating so guests can come back. The location was good coz it is close to Rogers Stadium.

The room wasn't terrible to just go sleep for a few hours after a night out in Toronto, but it was a very hot day and it had very low AC, we had two big fans and only one was working, bathroom was outside of room and it wasn't cleaned properly, very little water pressure in shower, a towel was offered but it looked like a mop rag. Not terrible overall for a few hours but we won't be booking here again.

check in was okay. very little instruction in the app. once in the builiding there are a lot of doors, some numbered some not. The locks dont always work so people kept opening our door thinking it is there room. The other tenants were very intrusive and followed us around inside and outside.

The check in process was long and unnecessarily complicated. When we arrived, there were 3 numbers listed on the door, none of which actually arrived when we called them. It took us 45 minutes to actually get into our room and we were stuck outside of the building. Once inside, our keys were labeled improperly and the lock to our room door was barely able to open and shut. There was also a latch to lock the door from the outside!? The bathroom was missing bare essentials; no soap or towels and it was shared for the entire second floor (4 rooms). Overall, the check in process made us feel very unsafe as a young couple travelling together. The service and amenities we received did not match the listed price and description we were given. I don’t usually give negative reviews, but I wanted to share my experience so other travellers know what they’re getting into. Please consider booking elsewhere or making serious improvements to the property!!

-Address of place I stayed not the same as what I booked. -After I took an Uber from the Airport to the property, I had to call 3 different phone numbers until I finally got a hold of someone from the company. -Maris sent me to 2 different addresses until she contacted an associate of hers to meet me in a quite sketchy area. -The associate led me on a rocky walkway between 2 townhouses to the back of the property. -The room was a garage converted into a room. Bed was a metal bedframe with only 1 pillow. Small bathroom with little room to move. - No air conditioning or towels when I arrived. Had to ask for both and got a fan and one semi ratty towel for a 4 day stay. -Only good things about my stay was the room was clean and had a fridge and microwave. -Also close to York University which has a nice campus and close to the TTC train line into Downtown Toronto. -Will not stay or recommend booking with this company again.

Absolutely horrible experience. When "checking in" all i was given were instructions to go to another building a block away and find the room basically. Completely different from any pictures. Room was very unpleasant, and i couldve slept on the floor instead of the matress and not felt a difference. The smoke detector in the building was on a constant beep. Worst of all i was harassed all evening by someone on the floor below me. Constantly banging on their ceiling (my floor) any time i so much as took a step through the room. Happened at least 5 times if not more. Within literally 10 minutes of being in my room the man marched room of his room, STOMPED up the stairs, and almost knocked the door open with how hard he started banging on my door. He yelled profanities and threats of beating someones ass if they dont stop banging around. Absolutely terrifying as a young adult on their own. When he left he slammed his own door so hard the building shook. Informed the... i dont even know... manager? And he actual response was "ok". I was suppoed to stay 2 nights but got the hell outta dodge first thing in the morning and didnt turn back.. Booking is non refundable but im absolutly going to be taking action to fight that. It was the most ridiculous experience of my life. DO NOT book here.

Check in was easy & efficient, bed was comfy. The room had 2 fans one didn’t work and the second was broken and rattled, the fridge was dirty and on its last gasp of life. The private bathroom was dirty and had to be cleaned before use. The property had a good location from ttc west finch with shops and take aways close by.

Room was dirty, we requested a new room since owner claimed they have hundreds of rooms and they came and denied. Also booked for 2 nights and ended up staying only 1 night because of how bad it was. They mention no refunds so we took our losses.
