I loved this hotel, one of my fav stays in Halifax!! The rooms are quiet, and very traditional for a hotel which I really enjoyed. The pool and fitness centre was so clean and so convenient, the pools hours were also great, adults had access until 11 which I loved because I like to be able to swim at a hotel but also have time to be able to do so. The staff were very friendly and helpful, I would definitely stay again! Extra bonus the rates were affordable!

I booked for a late checkout as I was quite jet lagged from travelling. I had on my do not disturb sign and was woken up 3 times by cleaning staff and once by phone despite having arranged this. Clearly it was not communicated. When I mentioned this when checking out the front desk said nothing and just said « you can leave now. » I now have to drive on dangerously icy roads exhausted and work all evening. I do not feel rested by my hotel stay. It was clean and centrally located.

Perfect location.

There’s not a better location in Halifax for a weekend stay. It’s clean, comfortable, well-run and right in the heart of the city. It’s close to the waterfront, the casino if that’s your thing, and some great bars and restaurants.
