Loved our stay here in Vive. Breakfast- bread, oatmeal, eggs, muffins, alternating sausage/bacon/longanisa, coffee, hot and cold tea is a great plus as well as the complimentary use of beach chairs, umbrella and beach mats. Use of hotel resort fees that’s actually beneficial to guests. Short 3-5 minute walk to the beach, food trucks, and abc stores. Helpful and courteous staff. No swimming pool, hot tubs or gym. A short 5 minute walk to trolley stops. Will definitely come back to stay here again.

Stayed at VIVE with my girlfiriend and we both thought that this hotel was great value for money! The amenities fees were WELL worth it - for 29$/day for 2 adults, you get Breakfast, tea, water, amazing fruit bowls, you can use beach towels/floaties, umbrellas, chairs, even sunscreen! The room itself was small, with shampoo/shower gel/conditioner provided in the bathroom. Hotel employees were all nice and willing to help with any questions we had about the stay or about Oahu in general. Location was amazing, so close to all great spots for food and so close to the beach.

We stayed a week at Vive Hotel this past November 2024 and we’re still talking about our wonderful stay! We can’t wait to go back and we’ll stay at Vive! The reception staff were incredibly helpful. The breakfasts were delicious. The location was two blocks from the beach. Everything exceeded our expectations!

Ok property in a central location in the heart of Waikiki. In lieu of the location the property is showing signs of wear and tear, needing a spruce up. The bed mattresses are too soft for our liking. Water pressure is great with ample hot water. Breakfast is ok, noting the fresh fruit is the standout.

Quentin saves my phone

Great and friendly staff. Special thanks to Quintin who saved our day. Ride back to hotel in an Uber and realized that I had dropped my phone in the car. Wife phoned it but the ringer was on silent. We were very concerned when Quentin said you can use “find my phone” with a desktop computer. He searched and I entered my ID and the Uber driver call back to my wife’s phone and 5 minutes later he showed up with my phone. Quentin you saved me. My boarding passes were on the phone as well as tons of personal information. Thanks my man!!

I will choose this hotel again if I would stay around Waikiki for a second time. But here are two things they can improve 1. Add a place in the room or bathroom to place the hair dryer. 2. Add tables for breakfast, the breakfast is always too crowd.

Good value, friendly service

Small but well laid-out room with a decent desk and very comfortable bed. In-window air conditioner is a bit noisy but works. Incredible views. Very friendly staff, especially at front desk and valet. Free breakfast is a bonus but I rarely took advantage because there's no where to sit (there's seating, but it's not optimized for eating and fills up fast).

I am sad to be leaving, I’ve really enjoyed my stay and all of the staff is amazing and friendly. I can’t wait to come back to Hawaii and stay here again. I’m so glad to have stayed here. My room clean, I loved that it had a fridge in it, and I love the style and decor of the room. Most importantly the bed was very comfortable and I like that it’s a low platform bed. Very much Japanese style. You can tell that the staff is like family here and they treat you the same. I’ve also met some great people having breakfast sharing a table.

I booked and paid for a Delux room with a water view and we were given a standard room with a small water view which was so small and uncomfortable and to change this they wanted another $350.00 USD,s The breakfast wasn’t as advertised and there is no microwave in the rooms We would not stay there again if we do go back to Honolulu

Bonne condition et bien situé

L’hôtel est dans une bonne condition et situé à 3 minutes à pied de la plage de Waikiki et de la statue du surfer Duke. Le déjeuner gratuit comporte plusieurs fruits et variété de pain/croissant mais seulement 2 items chauds par jour. Chambre petite mais propre avec unité d’air climatisé dans la fenêtre. J’y retournerais.
