The breakfast has such a good selection! Very good value! A/C was efficient! Such helpful staff at front desk and breakfast! The hot water went out an one point, but they got it up and going quickly!

*Great Location, But a Bit of a Mixed Experience Overall* We booked this place through Expedia when it was still listed as a 3-star stay. Right before the trip, though, we noticed it had dropped to 1 star, which definitely made us a bit uneasy going in. We also had a frustrating experience trying to contact the owners beforehand as we needed something for a visa application. Someone initially said they’d help, but after a few weeks of waiting, nothing came of it. Arrival & Check-in: We arrived late morning, thinking we’d at least be able to drop our bags, especially since it was absolutely boiling that day. But we later realised, buried in the small print, that reception doesn’t even open until 3pm. So we couldn’t check in, couldn’t leave luggage, and couldn’t get hold of anyone, which meant hanging around in the heat from about 12pm to 3pm. Not a great start. When we came back at 3, we still had to wait about 15 minutes in what felt like a slightly makeshift reception area inside a residential building. The staff member who eventually showed up wasn’t particularly welcoming, didn’t apologise, and spoke very little English, which made things a bit awkward straight away. We were also asked to pay a €50 city tax on arrival, which we had assumed had already been included. The Room: The biggest disappointment was the size. It just didn’t match the photos at all. We were expecting something closer to a suite, but what we got was a very small double room with a tiny bathroom
