The staff were great. And the building and room clean. And pool was very nice. However the bedroom was not in good condition. The phone did not work. A picture was taken off the wall with just hangers left. My guest and I had to fix one off the beds - the box spring was upside down and the mattress sank into it. We ended up fixing it ourselves.

Beautiful rustic decor & amazing indoor pool. Great value for the money on the long weekend stay. Limited dining options nearby, you have to drive to the waterfront area for more choices. Housekeeping is limited to once per 3 nights stay, inconvenient if you are staying 2 or more days.

I had a generally good stay at the hotel, clean rooms, comfortable bed, and a convenient location. However, I was disappointed by how they handled a billing issue. My card was charged twice, and when I brought it to their attention, the response felt dismissive. They acknowledged the mistake but didn’t seem eager to resolve it, just saying there wasn’t much they could do because it’s a weekend. It left a sour note on an otherwise pleasant visit. I’d recommend staying here, but be prepared for a less-than-proactive response if something goes wrong.

Check in was really terrible. We got to the hotel about 5:45pm. There was a tourist group with 28 rooms trying to check in and were being told their rooms were not ready. While the front desk tried to check all their bags into their back room we were told to just wait. After about 30 mins we were finally booked into our room. When my son folded out the couch to get ready for sleeping on later we found it full of what I think was cereal. After going back to the desk they changed us to another room. At this point I had asked for bedding for the couch for a second time while returning our first set of keys. We headed out for dinner, returning two hours later still not bedding and I had to return to the front desk again. Maybe on a good day this hotels service would not have felt like a burning dumpster fire, but today was not that day.

Check in was clunky. Rep couldn’t get the credit card machine to work. Seemed bothered to have to keep trying. Didn’t explain there is no housekeeping. Only after reading a tiny sign in the bathroom did I figure out it was every 3 nights. Nice room. Great restaurant. Decent location. But service was lacking for the price you pay. Will look for other options next time
