Showers were much better than expected. Maybe I just had good roommates, but the room was quiet and felt safe. Never saw or heard from the people in my room, only once I was out and about.

It's important to note this is a hostel and the owner/staffs work hard to make it a clean, friendly and safe place for guests. I booked a small room and it has everything I needed for a 1 night stay. Very good pricing. But the premise is in an area where we have some homeless people around. It is not totally unsafe for me as a male but maybe not for others. The building is old as as much they tried it is an aging facility so when you have a room facing west you do get a fan but you have to make sure you open your windows wide for cool air. You can't beat the pricing at this location and it is a clean facility. If you want aircon and nicer rooms you have to pay 3-4 times more at this time of the year (late May).
