Such a lovely stay at The Magnolia and Victoria as a whole. We came for our 30th anniversary and enjoyed many wonderful meals, wines and craft cocktails, including High Tea at The Empress. The room was lovely w/ a partial harbor view. Very comfortable bed and linens. The staff are friendly, attentive and helpful. We had dinner at The Courtney Room and it didn't disappoint. We enjoyed the pre-fixe menu and bought a bottle recommended by the very lovely and talented Somm, Mira. A worthy 30 year celebratory dining experience. Highly recommend - the stay, the dining, the city, CANADA! <3

This hotel is absolutely beautiful, and one of the cleanest, most well-appointed places we have ever stayed. Beautiful fresh floral arrangements in the lobby, very friendly, professional staff. We had an issue with our TV/remote and someone came up immediately and took care of it. We were very pleased to be given a complimentary upgrade to a Diamond suite. The location is very convenient--close to most of downtown Victoria. We were even able to walk (with suitcases) from the boat dock area. If we ever make it back to Victoria, we would definitely stay there again!

Staff was friendly and helpful. Notable amenities (May 2025): 4 bath towels and bathroom had plenty of hooks. Dyson hair dryer. Apples and cool coffee machine in lobby. Small gym but could do lat pulldowns, had kettlebells, and the elliptical wasn't too big for me.
