Everything seemed fine until we saw the roach in our bed. I asked the service desk to give it an extra cleaning while we were out and they did not. Room was not vacummed as we had asked and beds were not made. Reception staff was very nice and seemed to understand our concern but nothing was done. I mentioned it on check out and reception staff on duty knew nothing and asked us if had requested cleaning service ( I guess they don't clean if you dont ask?). I told her we asked and that nothing was done. GM was "out for an appointment" Very disappointing.

Great Value

Quick and friendly check-in! Clean and spacious room, quiet even with its convenient location to I35. Basic amenities, no smart TV. The pullout couch mattress was uncomfortable and thin, but the beds were very good and soft. Breakfast was hot even at 9:59 AM 😃

It was very loud where we stayed. The room was also not properly cleaned. Bathroom was still dirty from previous people who stayed. The towel racks kept falling off the falls throughout the night and there was old food left in the kitchen. Staff was great!

This property is right off the highway which was so convenient. I don’t eat pork so it would be nice to have more protein options for breakfast, other than that I loved my stay and would come back.

A good hotel, but...

This is a good hotel with clean rooms that were a little worse for wear. Minor annoyances, like the TV remote not working and a long delay before hot water showed up in the shower made this a less than top notch stay. The breakfast features the cliched Texas-shaped waffle and a rather minimal-quality and sparse selection of other items.
