Our stay overall was pretty good. I will say that the corners of our two rooms needed vacuuming. There was thick dust behind the nightstands and along the lower walls. However, linens were nice and fresh and the bathroom was spotless. Our room was nicely tidied and the beds were made up daily. It was quiet, however, we would get the strong stench of marijuana coming through the vents at random times. There were other guests on our floor who must’ve been smoking day and night because the whole hallway reeked. One of the reasons why we chose this hotel was because it had a pool. The pool and the pool room left much to be desired, The floor and walls were pretty gross, chipped and in need of repair- moldy in spots too. But more alarmingly, the chlorine was so strong it was irritating our noses and throats almost immediately upon coming into the room. I have a strong suspicion that chlorine and other chemical levels aren’t checked or monitored. Chlorine poisoning is a real thing, and I really think this is a big issue that needs prompt attention. The mini fridge kept drinks cool, but I wouldn’t trust that it’s cold enough to store leftover food. The A/C was having trouble keeping up too. We let the front desk know and they sent someone to take a look.

We enjoyed our stay at the Embassy suites. Hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. One might expect in a large city, there was some homeless people in the vicinity.

Beautiful hotel. However, the pool was not clean. We were the only ones using it one morning. And they have a texting system to reach front desk staff. We didn’t have a hair dryer in the room so I texted the number and never received a response. It wasn’t until I went downstairs over an hour later on the way out to alert the front desk that we needed one. Me and my two daughters left the hotel without fixing our hair that day.

The property was nice, rooms were cleaned. The valet person was rude. We kept asking about parking or did we have to valet and all he kept saying is that we were in the way and had to move. I asked to valet the car please that we were checking in and he couldn't explain that we had to back up and unload. While I went inside to see if I could check in early another valet person spoke to my husband and advised on how to valet properly and what we needed to do. The first attendee also tried taking of with our car while we were unloading our stuff from the trunk. Otherwise we didn't have any issues. Oh buy your water at Starbucks or local store. A bottle of water at the hotel is $10.
