Very pleasant stay at morrison Clark historic inn. Very nice spacious room. Very comfortable bed. And nice clean modern bathroom. Very good AC - a necessity in dc. And morning coffee offered free in lobby. Excellent staff and service I might add. What’s not to like?!?

The staff there are very friendly. The location is super convenient and walkable to tourist attractions. The only thing is that the walls are not soundproof so we can hear if people were talking at the corridor.

Tucked off star for staycation

10/10 — a very random choice that turned out to be crazy perfect. The restaurant is a bit too quiet for us, but the bar was perfect, good great. The place is very well taken care of, carpets clean, our room was lovely, genuinely no complaints!

Historic hotel artfully restored and maintained with efficient use of space. Attentive and professional staff. Easy and safe 30-25 min walk to the mall and museums. Impeccably maintained and clean, a good value for the price. Be aware parking is an extra daily fee. I would recommend this establishment and gladly return.

My Easter stay at the Morrison Clark Hitel

My stay was excellent overall. The waitress in the restaurant Jeanine was very helpful and nice. She gave me fruit to take to my room and she worked hard- night shift and then again the following morning to make up for being short of staff. The bartender should be trained to be a little nicer to guests. I arrived at 8:30pm at night and went to my room. Later, I can downstairs and walked to the bar. The bartender said,”Sorry miss we’re closed” I asked if I could get a snack, “Sorry, restaurant is closed-10 pm.” I did not know the bar and restaurant closed at 10pm. I went to bed the first night a little hungry. Perhaps tell guests when they check in what time the restaurant closes. I was also double charged for breakfast. The same price appeared twice on my card.
