This was my first time visiting Arizona and I was unsure about staying in a Best Western Plus. Over the years I thought they had declined in quality as did most hotel brands. My viewpoint has drastically changed now. This hotel had a delicious breakfast, a wonderful steakhouse restaurant, a classy bar with a view, clean rooms, secure entries, and a lovely hot tub to enjoy after a long day of hiking. I am a student and had a final I needed to complete during my stay but my laptop stopped working. The hotel staff guided me to a quiet computer area where I was able to successfully complete my final. I am so happy with my stay and will now be checking into other Best Western hotels in the future.

This was a fantastic choice on recent family trip! Upon arrival, we found the grounds and building to be very well kept, with wooded, mountain views. The lobby and dining room area were beautiful with fireplaces and even a cappuccino machine! Our room had a "traditional" hotel layout, but was very clean with quality bedding. The breakfast buffet offered a generous variety of hot and cold items, which were kept well stocked by the attendants. The heated outdoor pool and hot tub were a huge hit for all of us and the guest laundry machines were modern AND reasonably priced at just $2.00 a load! All of the staff we spoke with were pleasant and friendly - Highly recommended!

Walking into this Best Western, we were greeted by western and Native American decor and a friendly front desk staff. The place has good character — as east coast visitors to Arizona, we felt like we were “out west.” There’s a nice pool and fire pit area, and I especially liked the separate hot tub area with a little pine tree next to it. It’s not a new building, but our room was clean and seemed a little bigger than newer chain hotels. The bathroom light heater was nice touch. Overall, we just really liked staying here more than newer, bland chain hotels. Pros: nice staff, cleanliness, western decor, woodsy location, a fun gift shop with Grand Canyon and other regional souvenirs, a breakfast buffet, a decent restaurant and bar. Cons: too-soft mattress (we had to keep from rolling into the middle), breakfast buffet coffee was instant from a machine.
